  112.    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

  114.    This program automatically creates matching and multiple choice
  115.    quizzes, word searches, cryptolists, vocabulary bingo cards,
  116.    flash cards, and word juggles from your words and clues.  Word
  117.    list files are 100% compatible with CROSSWORD POWER from
  118.    WISCO Computing.  Includes foreign language character support.

  120.    The word search size can be varied up to 36 columns and 20 rows.
  121.    Below the word search, the hidden word, a definition of the word,
  122.    or the first letter of the hidden word with trailing blanks
  123.    can be printed.

  125.    A variety of VOCABULARY BINGO CARDS can also be created and
  126.    printed from your list of vocabulary words.  The optional FREE
  127.    SPACE may be placed in the center of the card.  Multiple cards
  128.    can be automatically printed.

  130.    CRYPTOLISTS substitute a different letter of the alphabet for
  131.    each letter of the vocabulary word. Users attempt to find the
  132.    pattern for the other words.

  134.    JUGGLE WORDS juggle the letters of a word.  JUGGLE WITH CLUES
  135.    juggles the letters of the word and provides the clue for help.

  137.    FLASH CARDS may be printed six different ways.  The FLASH CARDS
  138.    can also be used as the calling cards for BINGO.

  140.    MATCHING QUIZZES select words and clues from the word list,
  141.    then randomly rearrange the clues.

  143.    MULTIPLE CHOICE QUIZZES select clues, than randomly choose four
  144.    words for the choices.

  146.    MAGIC NUMBER SQUARES select words and clues from the word list.
  147.    When correctly matched, each row and column total to the same number.

  183. Differences between Evaluation and Registered Versions:
  184. There are no differences between the evaluation and registered
  185. versions for the bingo cards, flash cards and word searches.
  186. The evaluation version places up to 16 words in other activities.
  187. The registered version supports 25 words.  The evaluation version
  188. does not include the 730K dictionary.  The registered version may
  189. also include additions to this program since the release of this
  190. evaluation version.

  193. program directory and any files you created in the data subdirectory
  194. you indicated on initial setup.

  228. DIRECTIONS FOR COPYING TO THE HARD DISK USING WINDOWS
  229.  1. Go to FILE MANAGER
  230.     On the left side of the screen you should see C:\
  231.     with the directories listed under the C:\ symbol.
  232.  2. Place the mouse pointer on the C:\ symbol and click once.
  233.     C:\ should now be highlighted.
  234.  3. Click on the File Menu.
  235.  4. Click on Create Directory
  236.     You should see a box Create Directory.
  237.     At Name type C:\WISCO  Click OK.
  238.     If you scroll down the left side of the screen,
  239.     you should see the new directory WISCO
  240.  5. Place the VOCABULARY POWER diskette in drive A:
  241.  6. Click on the A: Drive Icon (under the Title Bar).
  242.     You should see a directory for the files on the disk listed.
  243.  7. Click on the File Menu.  A menu will drop down.
  244.  8. Click on Select Files.  A window will appear.
  245.  9. Click on Select.  Lines will appear around the file names,
  246. 10. Click on Close.  The file names will appear to be colored in.
  247. 11. Click on File.  A menu will drop down.
  248. 12. Click on Copy.  A window will appear.
  249.     In the box following TO: type C:\WISCO
  250. 13. Click OK
  251. 14. You can start Vocabulary Power from FILE MANAGER
  252.     On the left side of the screen you should see C:\
  253.     with the directories listed under the C:\ symbol.
  254. 15. If you scroll down the left side of the screen,
  255.     you should see the directory WISCO
  256.     Place the mouse pointer on the WISCO symbol and click once.
  257.     WISCO should now be highlighted.
  258. 16. The Vocabulary Power file names will appear on the
  259.     right side of the screen.
  260. 17. Click on the filename BINGO.EXE

  262. DIRECTIONS FOR COPYING TO THE HARD DISK USING DOS
  263. 1. First Create a Subdirectory named WISCO for the program.
  264.    At the DOS prompt, you will see C:\>
  265.    Type MD WISCO and press Enter
  266. 2. Now you will change to the WISCO subdirectory.
  267.    Type CD WISCO and press Enter
  268.    Your DOS prompt now reads C:\WISCO\>
  269. 3. Now you will copy the files from the diskette to this subdirectory.
  270.    Place the VOCABULARY POWER diskette in drive A:
  271.    Type COPY  A:*.* and press Enter
  272.    You will see a message when the copying is done.
  273. 4. Remove the diskette from the disk drive and store
  274.    it in a safe place.
  275. 5. Type BINGO and press Enter to start Vocabulary Power.
